A didactic configuration is made up of a “matrix” and the “methodology” that this matrix has generated. The “matrix” is made up of the social (or use) goal, situation and action historically targeted, and the corresponding language and cultural competences. Applying the end-means homology principle, the “methodology” takes up all the use components of matrix, turning them into learning components, and implements them using the pedagogical, linguistic, cultural, cognitive, methodological, epistemological and ideological models available at the time. This paper introduces the notion of “didactic configuration” by means of a model different from those I have already proposed in several previous publications, defining and commenting on each of its data one by one.
