Christian Puren analyzes the relationship between current technological innovation, enabled by digital environments, and current didactic innovation, that of Social Action-Oriented Approach (SAOA). In the course of the history of didactics of languages-cultures, three different models have been mobilized to consider this relationship: didactic determinism, technological determinism and multifactorial convergencesdivergences. The author shows that, in the case of SAOA, it's this last model that prevails, as the convergences between the potentialities of digital environments and those of SAOA are as numerous and promising.
